These beautiful art glass reed diffuser bottles are handmade and are mouth blown (it's the technique used by traditional glass blowers).  The glass is heated in a furnace, and the glass blower gathers molten glass onto a long blow pipe.  The glass blower then works the glass, adding colour (returning it to the furnace several times to maintain it's heat) and creates patterns and swirls in the glass as it is blown and moulded into the diffuser bottle shape.  Once the glass is shaped it is carefully detached from the blow pipe and cooled during a slow process called annealing, which ensure the glass cools evenly and remains strong at room temperature. The top of each glass bottle is then smoothed and a silver diffuser top has been fixed on top (there's no screw cap).  Each art glass reed diffuser bottle is completely unique and contains beautiful swirled colours.

These are larger reed diffuser bottles, so they could easily take 100-200ml of reed diffuser oil, so you can add as much or as little of your favourite fragrance as you like.   Each reed diffuser bottle is handmade so there will be variations in the colour and patterns of the item you receive compared to the images on this page.  We have a number of art glass diffusers in stock, so if you visit our shop you will be able to view several bottles to choose your favourite.  But, even if you live too far away please be reassured that every art glass diffuser bottle has it's own unique beauty.

Each art glass diffuser bottle is supplied in an Ameila Art Glass cardboard box to protect it during transit.  We include 7 long rattan reeds with each bottle to get you started.  Please note that these reeds are longer (approximately 27cm) than the rattan reeds that are supplied with our Reed Diffuser Kits, and they come from a different supplier.   These bottles look lovely with  our curly reeds and sola reed flowers which can be found in our Reed Diffuser Accessories.  We also have 25cm long natural rattan reeds and fibre reeds.  The rattan reeds are wider than our kit reeds (3.5mm) and will be available in natural and black.  

When ordering from this page, please note that you are purchasing just the art glass diffuser bottle with 7 free natural rattan reeds, the Reed Diffuser Refill Oil is available separately.   Supplied in an Amelia Art Glass box - please note that due to the shape of the box we cannot include heart shaped diffuser bottles in our create your own hamper gift wrapping service.
