These beautiful art glass reed diffuser bottles are handmade, using traditional glass blowing techniques.  The glass is heated in a furnace, and is attached onto a long blow pipe.  The glass blower colours the molten glass (returning it a few times to the furnace to maintain it's heat) and creates patterns and swirls in the glass before it is blown and moulded into the diffuser bottle shape.  The glass is then carefully cooled during a long annealing process to make sure the glass cools evenly and remains strong at room temperature. The top of each glass bottle is then smoothed and a silver diffuser top has been fixed on top (there's no screw cap).  Each reed diffuser glass bottle is hand made so will be completely unique and contains beautiful swirled colours of art glass.  These unique reed diffuser bottles look elegant and expensive, so they make perfect gifts - although many of our customers buy them to enhance their own home decor!

These larger sphere shaped reed diffuser bottles (they could easily take over 300ml of reed diffuser oil), so you can add as much or as little of your favourite fragrance as you like.   We'd advise you not to add too much since you could lose some if you accidentally knock over the bottle, and you might fancy a change in fragrance too (a 100ml bottle of our diffuser oil will last for months). Please note that each reed diffuser bottle is handmade so there will be variations in the colour, texture and patterns of the item you receive compared to the images on this page.  We have a number of art glass diffusers in stock, so if you visit our shop you will be able to view several bottles to choose your favourite.  But, even if you live too far away please be reassured that every art glass diffuser bottle has it's own unique beauty.

Each art glass diffuser bottle is supplied in an Ameila Art Glass cardboard box to protect it during transit.  We also include 7 longer rattan reeds with each bottle to get you started.  Please note that these reeds are longer than the rattan reeds that are supplied with our Reed Diffuser Kits, and they come from a different supplier. We think these longer reeds look better in a larger reed diffuser bottle, but any length of reed can be used.  These bottles also look lovely with our natural curly reeds and longer length reeds which can be found on our Reed Diffuser Accessories page. Our longer length 25cm natural rattan reeds and 25cm fibre reeds are a good length for this bottle.  Fibre reeds are a manufactured product made from synthetic fibre and these have an internal structure that diffuses reed oil more effectively than a natural rattan reed.  The inside structure has fine channels (like a natural rattan reed) but they are less likely to become clogged with reed diffuser oil, so a fibre reed will last much longer than a natural reed.

When ordering, please note that you are purchasing just the art glass diffuser bottles on this page.  The Reed Diffuser Refill Oil is available separately.  Each bottle is sent out in a grey Amelia Art Glass cardboard open front box with 7 free rattan reeds.

Sphere - diameter is 11.5cm, with an approximate height of 12.5cm (excluding the height of the  reeds).  Some bottles have a flatter bottom so may be a little shorter in height.

Apricot Earth - pale cream/apricot/orange marble patterned glass

Black Marble - marbled black and grey - these are dark with unique veined patterns

Grey inferno - pale grey with a multi coloured splash on one or two sides - very unique, every diffuser has a different pattern.

Multicoloured - clear glass with splashes of many colours - some are pale but some more intense colour, each one is unique.

Pink - pastel pink and white swirls 

Pink Blue - clear with pastel pinks and blues, sometimes with an iridescence. 

Purple Teal Lime - a transparent glass with purples, teals, lime and areas of iridescent shine.

Red - clear glass with swirls of bright and deeper reds.

Silver - grey/white/satin metallic design, some have an unusual iridescent rainbow sheen.

Violet Marble - deep and pale purple marbled opaque glass

Violet White - transparent shades of purple/pink with swirled white glass

Violet  - swirls of violet and transparent glass, with some iridescent shimmer - prettier than image.

Turquoise & White - turquoise and white swirls of transparent glass

White Multi - white marble with multi coloured glass 

White Nude Gold - a satin gold finish with white, charcoal and clear glass sometimes with a satin rainbow/iridescent effect

White, Sage, Blue - a satin finish with pretty pastel coloured glass

White - beautiful white and clear glass with a patterned satin finish.

White Iridescent  - a beautiful white/clear swirl with an iridescent finish (many have a pastel rainbow of colours across the glass).
