NATROMAEco - natural goat's milk soaps without any packaging
We're pleased to introduce NATROMAEco. This is in response to a number of customers who wanted to buy our soaps in the most minimalist way possible. They love our stance on responsible packaging and like our recyclable cardboard soap boxes. We introduced our boxes a couple of years ago, and they're mainly for our shop and stockists. The boxes keep the soap clean, prevent the soap being damaged and it's nice to know you aren't buying a piece of soap that's been handled by lots of people (everyone does love to sniff soaps!) Our cardboard boxes are biodegradable, but they've had to be manufactured and tend to be thrown away as soon as the soap is used. So, we suggest that you save them and re-use them over again....and we'll reward you for being eco-friendly by giving you 25p off each unwrapped bar you purchase (in addition to the multi-buy saving on 4 bars)!
If you care about the environment, we invite you to try purchasing your Natroma goat's milk soaps without any packaging. The soaps that are listed on this page are exactly the same as our other soaps, but they will be sent out without their usual cardboard boxes. Instead we'll select your soaps and they'll be loosely wrapped in tissue paper inside your parcel. By law we have to supply customers with ingredient listings, batch references and durability advice for everything that we sell - it's printed on the product labels. So, as we process orders of unpackaged products, we'll add this to your order on the website. You'll be able to log into your account and click on the unpackaged order, and read the labelling information.
When your goat's milk soaps arrive, please be aware that natural soaps should not be stored in plastic/air-tight boxes since the soap needs to breathe (they may sweat and become soft, which could ruin them). We'd suggest that you save your old soap boxes, so you can re-use them when your website ordered soap arrives. Alternately, keep the soap in the tissue paper until they're needed (they make great natural drawer or wardrobe fragrancers!). It's best to keep them covered, since they contain essential oils and these will evaporate quite quickly if the soap is left out in the air or in a hot environment. Their natural colours will also fade if they are exposed to lots of sunshine. So re-using the original soap boxes is the best idea.
Our Handmade goats milk soap ingredients are: Saponified olive oil (sodium olea europaeate), coconut oil (sodium cocos nuciferate), RSPO sustainable palm (sodium elaeis guineensisate), organic goats milk, organic cocoa butter (theobroma cacao), organic shea butter (butyrospermum parkii), sweet almond oil (prunus amygdalus dulcis), natural colourants and a natural fragrance derived entirely from a blend of aromatherapy grade essential oils. Our soaps contain only natural colours (this may include natural clays, spices, herbs and botanicals) which are sometimes swirled into beautiful patterns, but please remember that every bar is unique so patterning, colours and fragrance will vary between batches.

Our luxurious Natural Soapworks range of handmade goats milk soaps have a rich, creamy lather since each bar of soap is enriched with the addition of real goats milk. They also contain olive oil, coconut oil and palm oils (from a sustainable source so it doesn't damage the environment) and are enriched with cocoa and shea butters. Our natural goats milk soaps are highly moisturising but our formulation doesn't get soft if it's allowed to dry between uses. Our goats milk soaps are handmade using a traditional cold-process production method before being poured into wooden moulds. The natural soap bars are cured for several months, before being hand cut and they weigh at least 95g. Soap bar shape and texture will vary between batches.
All of our natural goats milk soaps are very gentle, so are suitable for use on sensitive or troubled skins.
