Natroma Organic Balms - especially for dry skin

We're pleased to add to some new aromatherapy products to our range!  Long-standing customers will remember that we previously had a range of butter balms which included jojoba wax within the formulation.  unfortunately these were lovely when they were new, but if they were exposed to variable temperatures their texture could become a little gritty (this is where the oils and butters melt and reform into harder lumps within the balm).  It's a common problem with balm products that contain very high levels of natural ingredients. 

So for the last year, we've been experimenting with a new formulation and a variety of natural waxes so we could re-launch our balm products.  In the end we've settled on using organic beeswax again (we stopped using this several years ago, since we wanted to produce a vegan product), since it is giving much smoother results that can stand up to temperature variations.  We like our balms to be reasonably soft too, so we're hoping this new formulation won't become too soft during the summer months, and won't be too firm during the winter either.  As usual though, customers need to ensure their balm isn't left in conditions that are very hot, otherwise it will definitely melt!  To use, simply scrape out a small amount of balm from the tin, and apply to dry skin.  As the balm warms up on the skin surface it will quickly melt, so be careful not to use too much!

Our organic balms contain high levels of organic ingredients.  We've chosen lovely organic shea and cocoa butters for their deeply moisturising properties, supplemented with penetrating avocado butter to ensure the goodness sinks into the skin.  But, to make sure the balms aren't too waxy, we've added in organic jojoba oil and organic coconut oils and these help the balms to melt more easily into the skin.  Added to these lovely natural skincare ingredients, is Vitamin E - well known for it's skin conditioning properties, and they're fragranced with pure essential oils.  The result is a really lovely textured aromatherapy balm that glides onto the skin and sinks in within a few minutes.  These are much more concentrated than hand creams, so remember that you'll only need to use a small amount for each application.

Soothe - is a naturally coloured pale green balm, with skin-calming essential oils of Lavender, Roman Chamomile, German Chamomile and Tea Tree.  This balm was developed especially for eczema and troubled skin conditions, and also contains sea buckthorn extract for it's skin-soothing proeperties.  It has a herby aroma due to the chamomile and lavender content.

Relax - contains a relaxing aromatherapy blend of Lavender, Geranium and Bergamot essential oils.  This aromatherapy blend is lovely to use when you need a little moment of calm.

Uplift - contains a lovely bright synergy of Rosewood, Mandarin Grapefruit and Lime. 

Sweet Dreams - we know this balm will be popular to use at bedtime, with it's delicate blend of Lavender, Ylang Ylang and Bergamot.  We've been producing our Sweet Dreams blend for several years, and customer feedback suggests many people love using this blend to encourage relaxation and a good nights sleep.

De-Stress - we knew we'd be in huge trouble if our new balm range didn't include De-Stress!  This is still our most popular blend with it's sweet synergy of Ylang Ylang, Frankincense and Bergamot.  It's a delightful blend that starts off sweet but mellows out into a drier aroma, that's really soothing and relaxing.

Exotic Rose - perfect for anyone who loves sweet florals.  This is a complex blend that includes Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Patchouli, Palmarosa, Rosewood with Rose, with a sweet, musky depth in the blend.  We expect this organic balm to be very popular with customers who love our Exotic Rose organic goat's milk soap!
