Natroma Local Deliveries

UPDATE ON LOCAL DELIVERIES - NOVEMBER 2020

We are now offering local deliveries to the Stourbridge, Halesowen and Dudley areas.

We cover Stourbridge, Dudley and Halesowen, and will travel out as far as Kinver, Hagley, Romsley, Fairfield, Himley, Blackheath and parts of Quinton.

It costs £1 for orders up to £34.99, free over £35.

You need to have a Natroma website account for the local delivery option to show in the shopping basket.

Everyone who lives locally who already had an account has been transferred automatically to the new Local Delivery group.

New users need to set up an account and e-mail or telephone us.  We will then confirm if local deliveries are possible to your address.  Please contact us before placing your order.

Many thanks

Sarah

Original message:

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we're now operating a local delivery service.

We have done this because some local customers have placed website orders, and paid postage on low value orders. We know that not everyone wants to order lots of items at a time (we offer free postage over £35), so we hope this new local delivery service helps some customers who are self isolating or only need a few items.

We have received enquiries from local customers hoping to collect items from outside our shop, but is still closed in line with the UK Government's closure of non-essential shops.  For now, we have suspended click and collect, since we want to keep the workshop pristine and avoid any risk to ourselves or the products.  We may re-introduce click and collect, once the Government restrictions are relaxed.

Local customers who wish to make a purchase and receive a local delivery need to create an account on the Natroma website (it's the only way we can include you in the local delivery group, so you can benefit from lower delivery costs). Also remember to opt in to receive the newsletter (to receive updates and special offers from us), otherwise we can’t contact you due to the GDPR rules.  The Natroma website has a separate loyalty scheme that’s similar to the one that operates in our shop, so account holders will still be able to collect points and redeem them against future website orders.  Points are only awarded to account holders who are logged in when they place their order, so anyone who checks out as a guest loses out.

Please register an account with us and e-mail us so we can update your local delivery option, before you place your first order with us.  If your address falls inside our local delivery area we'll include your address in a local delivery group.  Natroma local deliveries are available in most areas that are within a 4 mile radius of the Ruskin Glass Centre. We will try to offer the cheapest possible delivery cost, but please remember that we need to cover our fuel costs and will be offering deliveries based on postcode and our ease of travelling. If you live too far away, sorry we'll be unable to offer a local delivery.

If you are eligible, you’ll see the local delivery option in the drop down list at the checkout. You can still select the normal Royal Mail postal option if you prefer, and you will need to still select the postal option if you’re asking us to send a gift to another address that isn’t in the local Stourbridge area.

We offer local deliveries to customers who have a Natroma website account, on Wednesdays and Fridays for orders over £7.50 as follows:

  • For anyone who lives close to the Ruskin Glass Centre, (within a few minutes drive, e.g. Wollaston, Amblecote, Wordsley, parts of the old quarter) we’ll be offering free local deliveries.
  • For a second group that live a little further away (e.g. Pedmore, Oldswinford, Wollescote, Brierley Hill, Withymoor, Norton, Lye, Cradley, Quarry Bank) local deliveries will be £1, and free over £35.
  • For a third group that live further away (e.g. Stourton, Kinver, Hagley, parts of Halesowen and Quinton, Cradley Heath, Netherton, Kingswinford, Wall Heath, parts of Dudley, Belbroughton, Fairfield, Romsley, Hunnington) local deliveries will be £2, and free over £35.
  • For customers who have to self-isolate for 12 weeks, we’ll be offering free local deliveries if we can easily travel to your address. Please send us an e-mail, if you’d like to be included.

How Natroma Local Deliveries work

When you place an order, the website will send you an e-mail.

We’ll receive your order, and will get it ready for delivery.

We’ll then give you a call to agree a delivery day and time with you, and will send a 2nd e-mail to confirm.

When we make the delivery we’ll knock on your door, place the order on the doorstep and will step back 2 metres.  We’ll make sure you answer the door, and will not leave orders unattended.

If Government advice changes at short notice and it means we can no longer make local deliveries, please be reassured we will revert to using Royal Mail or issue a full refund.

We hope these deliveries help our local customers during these difficult times.  We have lots of soap and skincare in stock, so at the moment there's no need to worry about stock piling!

If you have any queries about Natroma Local deliveries, please send us a message via the contact page.

We are answering the phone at the workshop, whenever we are there.  But we are now only travelling into work if we have to process orders, so some days we will be closed all day.  If you leave us a message on the answer machine, we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Thank you Sarah and Paul for my 1st delivery. I hope you will be well supported during this difficult time.

Can I say that started using your goats milk soap over the past week (the hand sanitizer gels have made my hands very dry) your excellent soap has improved my skin and I shall be recommending it to my friends and family.
