Cute wooden soap dish shaped like a fish. These are made from hemu wood , a sustainable wood obtained from the guger tree in India.

We recommend that customers buy one of these, to allow their natural handmade soaps to dry out between uses. The design allows air to flow around the soap and also ensures the natural soap doesn't sit in water, which makes them last for longer. When our handmade goats milk soaps sit on a soap dish of this style, the soap quickly dries out and shrinks naturally as it is used. This means that you can use the goats milk soap right down to the last thin slither, so in the long run the fish soap dish saves you money.

These soap dishes are inexpensive items, and like any wood product will change colour with use. If they are allowed to get wet, the wood will darken with permanent discolouration.

Really pleased with everything I ordered. Soap dishes are great at stopping Soggy bottom soaps, soap itself is gorgeous - and not drying at all. The gift wrapped present
was nicely wrapped and loved by recipient.
Plus, order came promptly. Altogether, I'd definitely recommend Natroma.

More suitable for larger soaps

This style of the wooden soap dish is definitely better suited to larger soaps as the small ones have a tendency to fall through the gaps as the wooden rods are more widely spaced than the 'ladder' version of the soap dish'! (Hence 4 *s) I do like the shape of the fish though and it does look nice in my bathroom.
