We use essential oils every day, but realise that without a good knowledge of aromatherapy it can be difficult to successfully blend essential oils. So to make things easier, our Aromatherapist has created some lovely blends that are great to use around the home. Try adding a small number of drops to our Fragrant Decorations, a bowl of pot pourri or an oil burner, and then enjoy natural home fragrancing instead of having to use synthetic sprays or plug ins.
Our essential oil blends are supplied in 10ml amber bottles, with a safety dropper attachment. They are 100% concentration, without any additives, so please use with care. Each bottle contains approximately 200 drops so will last for ages. Choose from:
Happy - our top selling blend includes geranium, grapefruit and patchouli
De-Stress - a relaxing blend that includes ylang ylang, frankincense and bergamot.
Relax - a lovely relaxing blend that includes lavender, chamomile and mandarin.
Uplift - a bright, energising blend that includes grapefruit, bergamot and lime.
Sweet Dreams - as it's name suggests this blend is proving to be a popular choice at bedtime and includes ylang ylang and lavender.
Christmas Spice - the perfect festive aroma containing cinnamon, cloves and sweet orange.
Anti-Moth - contains the essential oils that moths dislike including cedarwood, lavender and clove.
CAUTION: Our essential oils blends are only intended for home fragrancing use, and are unsuitable for skin application. Bottles are supplied with dropper safety caps and should be stored cool, dark and away from children or animals. Never ingest essential oils - this is dangerous and can cause long term harm / poisoning. Dispose of old and unused essential oils carefully (never pour down the sink), since when fully concentrated most are hazardous to the environment.
Remember that essential oils are volatile and some can be highly flammable (some have a low flash point), so do not leave items that have essential oils dripped on them near to ignition sources or in direct sunlight. Do not drip essential oils onto fabric, since it can create a fire hazard if fabrics are not thoroughly cleaned at 60C in a washing machine. Do not tumble dry fabrics with essential oils since there have been instances of house fires being caused by essential oils igniting inside the tumble drier when it reaches high drying temperatures.
Neat essential oils are extremely concentrated, so wipe away any spillages immediately since they may damage polished and natural surfaces. Always wash your hands after handling essential oils.
