Whenever people try our handmade aromatherapy goat's milk soaps for the first time, we always recommend that they try using a bath scrunchie.
The reason is that our goat's milk soaps can be used in the bath or shower as a natural alternative to shower gels. The best way to use our soaps, is to rub the soap on a wet scrunchie (natural soap needs water to get the lather started, since it doesn't contain synthetic detergents) to develop a thick, creamy lather. The scrunchie can then be rubbed over the skin to clean and also add a gentle exfoliating action as you bathe. After using, simply rinse with clean water and hang up using the hanging loop to ensure the scrunchie dries out thoroughly before next use.
We offer 2 types of bath scrunchie:
Nylon - available in a variety of colours, we particularly like these since they dry out quickly after use so are more hygienic. The availability of colours varies throughout the year, so please use the drop down list to check our latest stock. Many people are concerned about using plastic scrunchies, but they are more hygienic than items made natural fibres. Nylon scrunchies tend to last for 6-12 months and will slowly fade or lose their shape. We always suggest that once you have finished using them as a skincare product, do not throw them away. Scrunchies can be re-used for household cleaning and are perfect (because they do not scratch) for cleaning the bath!
Ramie - this is a natural vegetable fibre that's woven into a soft cotton-like material, in a natural unbleached cream colour.
Our bath scrunchies are no longer supplied in plastic bags, so we will loosely wrap in a sheet of tissue paper.
