Vegan Friendly Palm-Free Soaps
We're well known for our award winning aromatherapy goats milk soaps, with their rich creamy lather and skin-kind ethical ingredients. But out and about at events we've been asked for vegan soaps. We love our goat's milk soaps, and we think they are really ethical because of how we source our goat's milk from a bio-dynamic farm, and the milk is purchased only once the kids no longer need it. But we respect the views of vegan customers who are seeking a completely animal-ingredient free soap.
Our new soap is free from palm oil (although we'd point out that we only purchase RSPO sustainable palm oil) again respecting the beliefs of customer's who would rather not use palm oil in their skincare. Our new soap contains organic ingredients, natural colours and essential oil fragrances.
Every ingredient we use is approved under Cruelty-Free International's Humane Cosmetic Standard, so each bar carried the official Leaping Bunny logo.
Like our other soaps, we have tried to create a long-lasting skin-kind soap. We'd be the first to admit that these bars are not quite as creamy as our goats milk soaps - it's why we have always specialised in goat's milk soaps, because the milk helps our eczema. But if customers are looking for a vegan-friendly alternative....well we hope these new soaps meet with your approval!
These palm oil free soaps have been made by hand in wooden moulds. We use a traditional cold-process production method, so the is cured for several months before each bar is prepared for sale. During this time it is regularly turned to ensure it cures correctly and we keep testing the bars until we're satisfied they're ready for use. Our soaps are labelled as 95g, but most bars are usually heavier than this since we make them larger to allow for the curing and natural shrinkage. Each bar is hand cut and trimmed, before being packaged. Our soaps contain natural clays and botanicals which are sometimes swirled into beautiful patterns, but please remember that every bar is handmade and completely unique so patterning, shape and colours will vary between batches. We recommend that customers use a free-draining soap dish (such as our glass soap dishes or wooden ladder dishes), to help the soap dry out between uses and last for longer.
