Gentle Exfoliator Dry/Sensitive

This is a new light cream, containing jojoba bead to gently exfoliate delicate facial skin. It also contains jojoba oil, papaya seed oil, evening primrose oil and comfrey oil with a blend of soothing botanical extracts. Light rose fragrance from a blend of essential oils.

Our gentle exfoliators have been carefully formulated with lots of skin-kind natural ingredients to soothe delicate facial skin.  Exfoliation is important for the face, helping to remove dead cells and reveal a fresher, radiant complexion.  But it's never a good idea to apply harsh or abrasive products since these can irritate the skin making it sore and uncomfortable.

Therefore our exoliator creams really are gentle, and contain tiny jojoba beads.  These are perfect spheres, so can be lightly massaged across the skin to exfoliate without any nasty after-effects.  We're also chosen our ingredients carefully - gentle jojoba, papaya seed oil, evening primrose and comfrey oils are teamed up with D-Panthenol, Sea Buckthorn and Echium botanical extracts.  (Check out the product specification page to see why these are such skin-kind ingredients).

This is a lightly textured cream, which can be rinsed off with water.  We'd recommend using one of our muslin cloths to completely remove all of the tiny jojoba beads, followed by a spritz of Hydrolat Toner and application of Moisturiser to finish off your mini facial treatment.

Active Ingredients:

Jojoba oil - is actually a liquid wax, that is highly penetrating since it closely resembles the natural sebum in our skin.  Ours is organic, and has the ability to naturally balance the oils in the skin. 

Jojoba beads - tiny sperical bead of jojoba which exfoliate very gently with no scratching or irritation. 

Evening Primrose oil - is naturally high in GLA and Omega-3 and 6 essential fatty acids and well known as a nourishing skin oil.

Papaya seed oil - This oil is extracted from the seeds of papaya fruit (also known as paw paw) and is rich in nourishing omega 3 and omega 6 essential fatty acids. Historically, healers have made pastes from crushed papaya seeds to treat rashes and other minor skin problems.

Comfrey oil - contains allantoin well known for it's soothing action on the skin.

D-Panthenol - is moisturising and helps to hold water in the outer layer of the skin, for lasting hydration.

Echium seed extract - naturally rich in GLA, and Omega-3 and 6 fatty acids to soothe the skin.

Sea Buckthorn - this has a documented track record in supporting damaged skin (such as when it becomes sun burnt) and is said to promote cell rejuvenation.  We have selected this ingredient since it also has pain relieving and anti-inflammatory properties.
