Q10 Facial Oil Serum

Luxurious facial oil serum, enriched with Co-Enzyme Q10 and containing many organic botanical oils and extracts to soothe, hydrate, smooth and refine the texture of the skin.

Natural Soapworks customers will be very familiar with our Skins Silk facial oils.  These new serum oils are new formulations for Natroma and are packed  with many new botanical oils (and a few old favourites too!)  We have also added some concentrated botanical extracts, carefully chosen due to their proven ability to soothe, smooth and refine the texture of the skin. 

This variety contains Co-Enzyme Q10, a well known powerful anti-oxidant, and a blend of concentrated botanical oils (please see the product specification section for details) and is lightly fragranced with rose, frankincense and neroli essential oils.  Please be aware that we are using many organic botanical oils and extracts in these powerful serums, so they do have a slightly nutty aroma which is typical of high quality botanical oils which have not been bleached or de-odorised.

We have also revised the packaging for these serum oils, and they now benefit from being enclosed in violet glass - to protect them from light and ensure they retain their full potency for longer.  They are very simple to use, with the handy pipette attachment.  Simply dispense 1-3 drops (they are very concentrated so do not use too much) and lightly massage the oil onto the skin.  They are designed to be used at night as an alternative to night creams, but a little may also be used on their own during the day or prior to applying moisturiser if the skin is very dry.   Will leave the skin feeling silky soft with lasting hydration, and remove any sensation of dryness or tightness.

This concentrated oil serum is an absolute powerhouse of active ingredients, carefully blended and balanced into a very potent synergy which suits all skin types.   This is a natural facial oil serum, and contains:

Co-Enzyme Q10 - this is an important antioxidant, which naturally occurs in all cells .  Research shows that it helps to improve the texture of the skin, and can smooth the appearance of fine lines.

Rosehip seed oil - one of our all time favourite oils, this contains a very high amount of Vitamin A and Omega-3 fatty acids and is suitable for all skin types.  Research shows that rosehip oil is beneficial in reducing scarring and in improving the texture of damaged or older skin.

Kiwi seed oil - is a unique oil which contains a very high level of omega 3 fatty acids and other nutrients. Research has shown that this oil improves skin texture and also protects against moisture loss.

Camelina oil - commonly known as 'gold of pleasure' camelina is very rich in Omega 3 essential fatty acids, and linoleic and alpha-linoleic acids - the significance of this, is the oil nourishes and replenishes the skin and supports troubled skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.

Mullein oil - this is the Mullein herb macerated in cold pressed Sunflower Oil, often referred to as being a natural wrinkle fighter since it contains minerals, tannins, vitamins and elastin.  It is re-hydrating and moisturising so improves the texture of the skin.

Pumpkin seed oil -   This oil is high in Vitamins A, B2, & B3, Beta Carotene, Potassium, Magnesium, Zinc and is a source of Omega 3, 6 and 9.  Because of the high Zinc content, is reputed to give a lifting effect to the skin.

Spilanthes acmella - an active botanical extract which has been proven to restructure, firm and smooth the texture of the skin.

Arctic Cranberry Seed extract - this contains essential fatty acids, and has been descibed as being a three-in-one skincare kit since it offers nourishment, moisture and protection.   It is a potent ingredient with restorative properties.

Echium seed extract - high in GLA and Omega-3 and 6 essential fatty acids, this extract is skin-calming and reduces skin inflammation.

Squalane - we use a vegetable based version, derived from olive oil.  Squalane is moisturising and also assists in the absorption of the oil serum into the skin.

Vitamin E - we use a natural source Vitamin E, for it's hydrating and anti-oxidant properties.

This serum contains no synthetic preservatives, and is protected with Rosemary Antioxidant.
