Royal Mail Strike Action - impact on postal timescales

You may have heard that Royal Mail are planning some strikes on:
Friday 26th August
Wednesday 31st August
Thursday 8th September
Friday 9th September
This is likely to cause some delays within the Royal Mail system, so please allow a little extra time for website orders to arrive.
We will try to post out as many orders as we can ahead of a strike day but then orders will be packaged but held back for a day. So for this coming week, we'll ship orders until Thursday 25th August and then orders will be held back until after the August Bank Holiday (Tuesday 30th August).
So if you have an urgent order that's placed a day or so before a strike day, please consider upgrading to courier (DPD) delivery at the website checkout.
