Reduced Delivery Costs from April 2023
We're pleased to announce a reduction in our postage costs for 2023!
Royal Mail have changed some of their weight bands for parcel deliveries, so we're pleased to pass on our savings to customers.
Standard - Royal Mail 2nd Class usually dispatches within 3 working days
Our Standard 2nd class post reduces to £3.50 per parcel and for another year will be FREE on orders over £35,
Standard is our slowest service, taking up to 3 working days (it may be faster, at quieter times of the year) so is a good choice for non-urgent orders.
Priority - Royal Mail 1st Class usually dispatches in 1-2 working days
Our Priority 1st class post reduces to £4.50 per parcel.
Priority is our fastest Royal Mail service and we aim to dispatch within 1-2 days (it's often same day) of receiving your order.
Signed For - adds £1.20 per parcel
For added security, choose a signed for service which requires a signature as the parcel is delivered.
Royal Mail Parcel Tracking Number
When your parcel is dispatched, you'll receive a message from us and it may include a unique parcel tracking number. If you go to the Royal Mail website, you can input the number and it will show when a delivery is attempted. So if your parcel does not arrive as expected, it's worth checking the number since Royal Mail may have taken your parcel back to the local sorting office. They may attempt another delivery, but it's more likely that they'll hold the parcel for a few days so you can call in to collect it.
DPD Courier usually dispatches in 1-2 working days
Sadly we have had to change our DPD courier service, since in April 2023 DPD increased their prices and also closed our DPD Local depot! The knock on effect of the depot closure, is that we can no longer drop off parcels on the same day as the order to guarantee a next day delivery service. Please be assured that we will do everything we can to prioritise the dispatch of DPD parcels and will speed things up by taking them to a DPD drop off shop (usually on the same day as the order if it arrives before 11am). However, please be aware that many DPD drop off shops only have one collection each day, there may be a 24 hour delay whilst your parcel awaits the next DPD collection.
Once it enters the system DPD is a next day signed for system and you'll be notified by text or e-mail of your one hour delivery slot. DPD deliveries are usually available to all UK addresses, but may take a little longer to Highlands and Islands/more emote addresses. If we find that DPD refuse to book a parcel we'll get in contact to discuss alternatives with you.
For the remainder of 2023, orders with a DPD service will be £8.50 on orders up to £74.99 and FREE over £75.
